Byteplus is working with a group of schools on L.M.S (Learning Management System) to make learning easy and comfortable.
The Center carries 500 PCs all equipped with digitized educational contents. It boasts of a virtual Learning Management Suite (vLMS) being use in the administration of CBT exams, audio visual teachings and as a Biometrics Data Capture Line to pre-register students’ biometric details as well as for on the spot Biometric Data Verification.
The center is also equipped with tele-presence suite which has capacity to provide video conferencing with any part of the world. It is powered by MTN Microwaved Fiber Optic Internet Link and the Project is a 5- year PPP initiative between Byteplus Limited and Federal University of Oye- Ekiti.
The project entails the design and deployment of educational contents for use by the NMS & CSSs, the contents entails subscription to Proquest K-12 e-library suites holding millions of books, journals and titles. E-Mock/E-test question bank holding digitized past questions of WAEC, GCE and NECO since 1980. Designed for a Localized Learning Management Systems, and incorporating a full module e-learning suite it also includes infrastructural deployment of ICT facilities for the NMS and CSS currently running in CSS Mbiri, CSS Makurdi, and CSS Ibadan.
